San Pancho and the Riviera Nayarit Coastline
Located 27 miles north of Puerto Vallarta, San Pancho is located along the Riviera Nayarit Coastline. San Pancho is nearby Punta Mita, La Cruz, Sayulita, and Guayabitos. These coastal pueblos are conveniently reachable by taxi, providing an opportunity to explore the coastline.
San Pancho is home to the magnificent Tierra Tropical Beach & Polo Clubs. They are world-class facilities offering fine dining, resort amenities, events, polo games, Sunday brunch and more. During polo season (roughly November to May), they offer international polo games and brunch. The beach club is open daily and the polo games generally are played on weekends, mainly Sunday.
For those who prefer an easy, relaxed vacation, enjoy a leisurely stroll along the one-mile shoreline, opt for a one hour beach massage or explore the heart of our charming town. San Pancho also has a vibrant music and arts scene, hiking, surfing, whale watching, and so much more. When is the best time to visit? November 1 - May 31 is considered 'high season' - the restaurants are all open, the town is lively with tourists and events, and the weather is sunny with little to no humidity. Low season months are August - mid October, when the weather is humid & tropical storms may occur. During this time some restaurants will close for hiatus.
